Deadline: December 1, 2020 The Wallace Stegner Fellowship Program is designed for the arts to practice and improve their craft. At the end of the program, participants will not earn a degree, so this is more of a residence for talented writers. The program differs from similar programs - there is no age limit and there are no academic requirements. Writers have the chance to spend 2 years perfecting their writing under the guidance of Stanford University staff. The organizers offer dozens of readings, one-day workshops, and activities that give students the opportunity to meet famous writers and explore their creativity outside the classroom. Students who wish to get deeply acquainted with creative writing can take training in special courses Levinthal Tutorial, the Hoffs-Roach Tutorial and others. |
