INTERNATIONAL ROUND TABLE ON MODERN APPROACHES TO PREVENTING FAMILY AND DOMESTIC OFFENSE

                  On October 30, 2025, Abay Myrzakhmetov Kokshetau University hosted a meeting of the International Scientific Round Table "Law and Order as the Basis for Society Stability." The topic was "Preventing Family and Domestic Offenses in the Current Stage: Legal, Social, and Cultural Aspects of Strengthening Law and Order."

                  The event brought together representatives of the scientific community, law enforcement agencies, civil society institutions, public associations, and universities from Kazakhstan and Russia.

                  The round table was organized by the Department of Jurisprudence at Abay Myrzakhmetov Kokshetau University.

                  The event was moderated by department lecturers S.V. Krapivko and I.V. Osyko. Salimgerey Imangalievich Karakushev, Head of the Department of Jurisprudence and Candidate of Legal Sciences, addressed the participants with an opening address. He noted that preventing domestic violence is currently one of the key tasks in ensuring social stability and law and order. The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan paid considerable attention to strengthening the institution of the family in his Address to the People of Kazakhstan.

                  Representatives of the judicial and law enforcement agencies spoke during the meeting, including N.S. Petrova, Deputy Head of the Regional Prosecutor's Office; G.Kh. Dzhanbekova, Representative of the Human Rights Commissioner; A.A. Appayeva, Children's Rights Commissioner of the Akmola Region; M.T. Khalikova, Head of the Domestic Violence Department of the Public Security Department; and many others. The scientific community of Kokshetau University was represented by leading faculty members of the Department of Jurisprudence: A.A. Kereev, A.A. Nurmaganbetov, L. Satybaldy, Sh.S. Togaybaeva, and others. The presentations focused on the role of educational institutions and youth initiatives in fostering a legal culture of non-violence in the family.

                  The participants emphasized the need for systematic interaction between government agencies, educational institutions, and non-governmental organizations in the area of ​​domestic violence prevention, as well as the development of scientific research in family and administrative law.

                  The event served as a platform for the exchange of practical experience and the strengthening of international scientific ties.
