At the Department of Ecology, Life Safety and Environmental Protection, as part of cooperation with professional practitioners, from 05.11.2024 to 25.11.2024, classes for the 1st and 2nd year students of the educational program "Life Safety and Environmental Protection" were conducted by the chief of the guard of Fire Department No. 10 of the city of Kokshetau, Lieutenant Serik Adilet Altynbekuly. The purpose of the classes was to deepen theoretical knowledge through their application in real conditions. The lieutenant shared his experience of working in the fire service, spoke about real situations that service employees face when eliminating fires and other emergencies. During the classes, students learned the basics of preventing fires at home and at work, algorithms for action in case of emergency situations, principles of operation of modern fire and rescue equipment, analysis of errors that can lead to increased damage or loss of life. Special attention was paid to compliance with safety rules at high-risk facilities and the need to strictly follow instructions in a threat environment. Such classes help students better understand the importance of the rescuer profession, as well as realize their own responsibility for environmental safety. Practical communication with professionals helps students develop deeper knowledge and skills that can be useful both in everyday life and in their professional activities. Involving specialists from specialized fields is part of the university's strategy aimed at improving the quality of education and training highly qualified specialists in the field of ecology and safety.
