Every year on June 4, our Republic of Kazakhstan celebrates the birthday of the flag, coat of arms and anthem. On this day, in the city of Kokshetau, at the "Flagpole" monument, a solemn traditional ceremony of raising the State Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place with the participation of the Akim of the Akmola region, M.M. Akhmetzhanov. The ceremony was attended by veterans and honorary citizens of Kokshetau, heads of educational institutions, representatives of departments and departments, ISOs, political parties, the Akmola Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, opinion leaders, young athletes, winners of international, national and regional competitions, student activists of colleges and universities, etc. The ceremony was attended by student activists of A. Myrzakhmetov Kokshetau University, including a delegation of teachers and students who arrived at the university from the Indonesian State University of Surabaya (Universitas Negeri Surabaya UNESA) as part of the international program for the internationalization of education and cultural exchange. The ceremony made a great impression on the guests. This event became an important moment for them to get acquainted with the culture, traditions and state values of Kazakhstan. State symbols are one of the unshakable foundations of the state and sovereignty. They express the sacred image of the independence of our Motherland, and honoring and respecting the symbols of the country is the civic duty of every citizen.
