STUDENT PARTICIPATION IN CAREER GUIDANCE AS AN INCREASE IN SOCIAL GPA

On April 15, 2025, a meeting of students with the university administration was held at A. Myrzakhmetov Kokshetau University. The topic of discussion was the importance and role of social GPA for students. During the conversation, it was noted that our university has created all the necessary conditions for the comprehensive development of the individual, the training of future high-level professionals and the education of a socially mature individual. To increase the level of social GPA for students, the university has created ample opportunities: along with educational activities, this is participation in the volunteer movement, classes in creative circles and studios, sports sections, and you can also prove yourself in career guidance work. Activity in this area is very important for both the university and the student, since in the process of this work the student develops communication skills, gains experience in participation, learns to work in a team. In all universities of the country, students, as true patriots of their university, are active participants in career guidance. The incentive for active work is both an increase in the GPA level and a reward for effective work in the form of a bonus, a discount on tuition fees, etc. This was discussed with students at a meeting by the rector of the university, academician of the NAS RK Elyubaev S.Z., First Vice-Rector Karimova L.Zh., Deputy Vice-Rector for Social and Education Work Seituarov A.K. During the meeting, options for a strategy for conducting career guidance events by students were considered. A meaningful and interested conversation took place, as a result of which, undoubtedly, many students will join the university headquarters for career guidance work, combining efforts in an important common cause.
