On April 22, 2021, another open meeting was held at the International Laboratory for Inclusive Education (Belgium), at which achievements and challenges in the inclusive educational space of Ukraine were presented. The speakers of this event were E. Tsaranok, director of the Modern Education and Research Institute (Brussels), D. Lepeshev, candidate of pedagogical sciences, professor, academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Kazakhstan, deputy rector for international cooperation of A. Myrzakhmetov KU. The open meeting of the International Laboratory was attended by over 240 participants (students, undergraduates, scientists, teachers-practitioners, heads of educational organizations). The main directions of inclusive education were discussed. With a report on the topic: "The genesis and development of inclusive education in Ukraine" and "Ways of promoting the development of inclusive education in Ukraine by universities on the example of the activities of the department of special and inclusive education of the Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko” was made by Y. Bondarenko, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Research Laboratory of Inclusive Education Problems of the Department of Special and Inclusive Education of the Sumy State Pedagogical University named after AS. Makarenko, teacher-defectologist of the 1st category (Ukraine). A report on the topic "Ukraine in the post-Soviet space of inclusive education" was presented by Tarnavskaya NP, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Preschool Education and Pedagogical Innovations; Director of the Scientific and Methodological Center for Resources and Documentation of the Zhytomyr State University named after Ivan Frank (Ukraine). A report on the topic "Informal inclusive practice: from points of contact to points of sustainable development" was presented by O. E. Gordiychuk, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Methodology of Primary Education, Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Social Work of the Y. Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, founder of the public organization "Inclusive Space. Ukrainian Community", expert of the international program for the development of inclusive communities, member of the IACD, a global organization accredited by the United Nations (Chernivtsi, Ukraine). The topic "The role of rehabilitation centers in inclusive education" was addressed by I. G.
