UPDATING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

On March 27, 2025, the Department of Design and Cultural and Leisure Work held an open meeting of the educational and methodological council on improving educational programs. The event was attended by graduates and students, as well as employers, representatives of the university, business, the design industry and theatrical art, including Igonina E.P., Director of the Department of Academic Affairs of A. Myrzakhmetov University, Temerbekova A.A., Dean of the EEF, Akhmetov A.E., Director of the Gradient advertising agency, Novgorodtsev V.V., Director of Novgorodtsev LLP, Burmaganov M.Zh., Director of the Stepnyak IP, designer, Zhakyp M.Kh., Kamen Zhekebatyr, actors of the Russian drama theater. The main topic of the meeting was updating the content of educational programs taking into account modern trends, during the discussion of which such issues as the integration of digital technologies and new visual communications into the educational process; the development of practice-oriented modules and strengthening of interdisciplinary links, as well as students' suggestions for improving educational programs were considered. Following the meeting, a survey was conducted, and the collected suggestions will be taken into account when adjusting the curricula. An open dialogue between teachers, students and representatives of the design industry contributes to improving the quality of educational programs and training in-demand specialists in the field of design and cultural and leisure activities.
