At the end of January 2021, the department of educational work organized a meeting of students living in the House of Students No. 1 of A. Myrzakhmetov Kokshetau University with local police officers. The purpose of this event was to familiarize student youth with the rights and obligations, causes and consequences of offenses and crimes, to increase students' legal literacy and responsibility for their actions. Lectures on the topic: "Prevention of offenses and crimes among student youth", "Norms of administrative and criminal legislation" were held by senior district inspector of the police department of Kokshetau, police major Koshkenova A.O. Senior detective of the Police Department of Akmola region, police major Kursanova R.T. held a conversation on the topic: "Legal aspects of anti-drug legislation", "Integrity and honesty. Prevention of corruption among youth”. More than 130 freshmen took part in the event. Preventive interviews were conducted in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological standards and requirements. The meeting was productive and informative. The students took note of all the information received and concluded that it is necessary to be law-abiding citizens and not break the law.
